The Handgun Instructor Development course is an intensive two-day class. Upon completion of this class, the student will have satisfied the training portion of the requirements to become an Oklahoma Self Defense Act Instructor. DTS is one of the few non-governmental entities with an instructor program recognized by the state. Unlike all of the others the DTS Instructor Development program is specifically designed to teach the instructor to teach the Oklahoma handgun license course.

- Basic handgun class and a handgun license.
